i have studied dream and nightmare mist extensively, and the effects of the mist which appeared the night of the soiree have me scratching my head. the color of the mist was pink (at least until it was darkened by the appearance of the unown's dimension later). pink is a color we associate with good dreams, based on one’s desires. the dreams were witnessed mutually by everyone in the room, which creates a paradox, as one person’s dream could easily be another person’s nightmare. because of this, it is my belief that these situations do not originate from the mind, nor are they a byproduct of dream or nightmare mist. rather, they exist independent from our own perception of reality altogether.

as i recall, you said yourself that night, “reality is but a filtered dream.” what did you mean by this?

when i say “reality is but a filtered dream" what i am referring to is that our perception of what is "real" is based not on what something actually is, but what we declare it is.

some trains of thought believe that we can only dream about what we have encountered or thought about. consequently, our dreams then do not consist of a "reality" but a rendition of the reality which is filtered through the lens of our experiences.

the situation at the soiree was curious. i can see what you are saying. perhaps, the interdream zone is a canvas to which our collective conscience throws paint at.

i see. perhaps you are correct, although that only leads me to the question, how real is our collective conscience? is the paint throwing consequential in some way? i hope to find out.

another thing. i heard rumors following that night that at one point you had lost track of the litleonids. they vanished, only to come back again inexplicably. if this did happen, did you ever find out why?

those are thought provoking questions that i unfortunately do not have the answers to.

maybe, the pokemon that hold authority or influence over our universe are listening to us as mute gods to create that collective conscience. a guess that is less science and more fairytale.

we never did find out the exact reason, but if i were to take a stab in the dark, they disappeared because of a wormhole.

those are both interesting theories. the possibility that they could simply disappear and reappear on the same course so quickly is fascinating. i wonder where they went.

i have one more question. do you know anything more about the existence of dream mist in outer space and what its purpose might be there? it is my understanding that it is used by primarily psychic-type pokémon for hunting and sustaining themselves. i find it very strange that it appeared with the litleonids. minior possess minimal psychic energy, and in my studies, one has never produced dream mist.

what i heard from subsequent investigations and eye witness testimonies is that the dream mist did not come from the minior themselves.

instead, the litleonids and minior that impacted the earth seem to have drawn it from the earth itself, or quite possibly, just from the general area and not necessarily the firmament.

it is as if an invisible lid to the interdream zone was struck, allowing the dream mist to escape.
